DECLARATION: BOULDER COUNTY COLORADO REPUBLICANS DEMAND HONEST ELECTIONS.
By the authority vested in me as the elected Chairman of the Boulder County Republicans (BCR), along with other elected officials in this county party and many constituents we represent, I, Peg Cage, do hereby DEMAND HONEST ELECTIONS.  Recently, the President of the United States made a major decision against Colorado due to the “corrupt elections” here.   It’s time for the parties to regain control.

The parties, not the government, conduct elections.  According to Colorado state statutes, my duty in partisan elections on behalf of the County Republican Party is to certify to the county clerk a list of people to represent BCR as election judges and watchers.  They are legally responsible for conducting and watching the election process in a bipartisan fashion along with Democrats, minor party members and unaffiliated electors.  I am also responsible for appointing canvass board members who, along with their counterparts from the Boulder Democrat Party and the clerk, verify, and if possible certify, elections.  Boulder County Republicans’ canvass board members have consistently refused to certify the county’s elections since 2012, mostly because the eligibility of electors cannot be verified in mail ballot elections.

County Clerk and Recorders and the Secretary of State are partisan elected officials who represent the values of the party to which they are affiliated.  Their job titles describe their responsibilities for the administrative duties necessary to keep the county or state records and organize elections.

The criteria BCR expect our elected officials to abide by as they facilitate elections are as follows:

  1. A verifiable chain of custody from ballot paper and printing through completion of required storage.
  2. Each elector with photo proof of eligibility and citizenship is given the opportunity to vote once.
  3. No ineligible ballots are allowed to be cast. Individual voters, not clerks, “cast” ballots.
  4. Ineligible votes are identified and never counted.
  5. Every eligible vote is interpreted and counted, correctly, once.
  6. All election records and processes are transparent.
  7. Every cast ballot and cast vote is anonymous and was voted in secret.

Acknowledging the failure of parties and their elected officials to keep the legacy of honest elections due to decades of infiltration, corruption, manipulation, miseducation, and gaslighting by nefarious individuals, no fault could be laid on the electorate apathetically conceding to questionable elections.  But we are no longer complacent.  In 2024, BCR and six other Colorado county’s GOP canvass board members refused to certify.  It’s time for us to immediately pursue a concerted effort to provide our constituents with verifiably honest elections.  Please see supporting documents at MyColoradoGOP.org.

Sincerely, Peg Cage Chairman Boulder County Republicans

HD10 GOP CHAIRMAN BILL DEOREO AND BOULDER COUNTY REPUBLICANS ASK CLERK FITZPATRICK TO TALK WITH US ABOUT FIXING OBVIOUS BALLOT BOX SURVEILLANCE PROBLEMS.  How can she maintain the "Colorado Gold Standard Elections" mantra while refusing to have a conversation about following basic tasks?

Boulder County Clerk Molly Fitzpatrick was invited to the Press Conference to allow her to challenge DeOreo's presentation, but she did not respond to that email nor did she come to the meeting.

At the meeting, Boulder County Republicans Chairman Peg Cage presented for about 10 minutes on the concept of citizen sovereignty for elections and Mr. DeOreo gave a 20 minute presentation of the glaring shortcomings of the drop boxes.

This is the complaint that Bill DeOreo is planning to submit to Boulder County Clerk if she continues to refuse to talk with us about the non-compliant monitoring cameras in HD10 (The complaint includes the photos in Bill's presentation):

FOR THE RECORD - 2024 ELECTION UNCERTIFIABLE

PROJECT: ELECTION INTEGRITY - DON'T CERTIFY ELECTIONS

WE (ARE SUPPOSED TO) CONTROL THE GOVERNMENT (2022)

MyColoradoGOP's EFFORTS TO OPT OUT OF SEMI-OPEN PRIMARIES
How can the elections be honest if the Republican Party won't conduct their own candidate nomination process?  Instead, they allow the "elected" Secretary of State to run their primary election with all the proven problems that come with state-run, uncertifiable elections.  Why should the party include people who refuse to affiliate with the party, and who outnumber the Republicans, to vote in their most important election?  How is it okay that a candidate can buy his/her way onto the primary election ballot by paying signature gatherers to circulate petitions, then "win" in the primary election without needing a single Republican vote?  The Republican State Central Committee has had to force the vote several times, as the Chairmen wanted to "Kill This Thing" rather than allow the membership to vote on the opt-out.  The Democrat Party doesn't even conduct a meeting to allow their members a chance to take their nomination process back under their own control.  Think about it.  If both major parties decided to opt-out and conduct their own nominating process, it would eliminate state-run primary elections.  That would be a great savings to the taxpayers!   Why would the leader of a political party allow the party's primary vote to be infiltrated by non-members?  Why would a former GOP state chairman now be trying to put the final nails in the party's coffin by bringing in jungle primaries, where everybody votes the same ballot and all parties compete for the top four positions, followed by a general election conducted by Ranked Choice Voting (RCV).  RCV comes directly out of the Communist Party USA's platform.  We must wake up.  It is our most basic right and duty as Americans, especially Republicans, to secure honest elections for our constituents.
